“Higher Vision”

God has redeemed our name and identity. He calls us higher.  We’re called to rise above the circumstances and gain God’s perspective. Our unity with Jesus Christ gives us the supernatural ability to see and perceive. After much prayer, God revealed to me that the Chinese character 张 (Zhāng), a common family name, means archery/warriorship, firstborn (the eldest son), leadership, expansion, and longevity.

The prophetic meaning behind this painting includes the color of the archery bow matching the eagle’s beak (not planned!);  It took 3 years (2022-2025) to finally finish this painting; The red-crowned crane behind the Archer symbolizes longevity…

May you step fully into the new identity that God has called you to be. May you serve God and His Kingdom with the unique portion He has given you.  And you will find joy and fulfillment in living as your true, God-given self.
